This studio course introduces the fundamentals of visual design through weekly hands-on exercises and guided projects. You will work with digital and physical tools while developing skills in composition, colour, typography, layout, and visual communication.

Computer lab
You need an access key to enter the computer lab.
- Log in to the computers using your McMaster account.
- The computers include Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
- Sign in to Adobe using your Adobe account.
- Contact the instructor if entering the lab or using its computers creates an access barrier.
Equipment booking
Video and audio equipment can be booked through the Humanities Media and Computing Service Centre equipment-booking system.
To access the booking system:
- Sign in using your McMaster credentials.
- Connect through the McMaster campus network.
- When working off campus, connect to the McMaster VPN before opening the booking system.
