IARTS 3MD3 - Making Art 4: Key Issues of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in the Arts

This course examines how artists and collectives challenge systemic inequities related to race, gender, sexuality, religion, class, migration, colonialism, and disability. Students will consider questions of representation, consent, positionality, cultural context, and accountability when engaging with sensitive subjects, communities, and lived experiences.
